After graduating from law school, I worked as an associate for a small firm in southern California, working in the corporate transactional department, with a focus on probate, estate planning, estate tax preparation, and estate tax audit defense.

In 1993 I relocated to New Hampshire with my family, and worked as in-house counsel for Dean Kamen, President of DEKA Research & Development Corporation. My work involved a broad range of topics, from developing patent applications to assisting with business development projects, and also involved some individual counseling with employees.

In 1996, I had the opportunity to return to private practice and to estate planning with Curtin Law Office. Since then, I have concentrated my practice on general estate planning, complex trust drafting for high net-worth individuals, estate and inheritance tax preparation, and probate. I enjoy working as a "problem solver" for our clients – developing creative solutions to difficult problems in a variety of contexts.
